Feesh has been special to me since birth. She was presenting breech and I had to pull her myself and then she was dead... this perfect little beauty. So, I gave her CPR and brought her back. I fought for 20 solid minutes to get her breathing and moving and I succeeded. She was this gorgeous little twinkie colored girl and my heart was hers. She grew older and with each week her goofy personality appeared. Her sense of humor, of self, her eagerness to be a part of 'something'. I knew she was the one to continue in my program. I sent her to 'Puppy Bootcamp' for show training with my good friend Eth and she obtained her Hnrs/IntCH/NatCH puppy in IABCA. Since I love my clients I was thrilled to send Feesh to the amazing Lauren K. who owns Willow and showed Cam to 9 of his PoA points! (drat that one missing point!) So far, Feesh has earned her TKN under Lauren and the new year has just started!
~Tina, breeder of Feesh
I first had the opportunity to meet Feesh when I went to pick up her litter mate, Oro. I housed both of them for a week, before passing Feesh off to another for show puppy boot camp. My intention was to keep Oro to show, so I didn’t think much of Feesh while I had her. When Oro’s ears never came up, Tina and I decided it would be best to find him a pet home, and see if Feesh would work well in my household while I showed her. Up until about a week after her first heat cycle, I kept the mindset that I was more of a foster home for her and just her handler at the time. Since I had already gone through two other dogs who didn’t really fit well with Willow, I wanted to make sure there wasn’t going to be any major problems with Feesh before I committed to putting my name on her registration. Although she has her moments, because puppy, she has just been the sweetest girl and full of love towards me!
We are all super excited to see how far she can go in the show ring, and I’m also planning to see how she does in other performance venues as well! This year I plan to work with her on earning more trick titles, she will be trying out barn hunt more seriously after she refocuses away from puppy brain, and we will also get to see just how fast she is with FastCAT. Depending on how she does with barn hunt, though, I might swap that out for Scent Work as another outlet for her to use her brain.
