I always wanted a smart trainable dog and I had aspirations of being a dog trainer and zookeeper. After researching some, I chose a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I started teaching Maslow tricks as a way to keep his tiny little herding dog brain occupied with a job. It quickly turned into a way for us to bond. With each trick came improved communication between us.

With the improvement in communication, he would learn tricks quicker and quicker. Now, owning a corgi, I obviously got many Instagram, YouTube, Facebook etc etc videos shown to me of the overweight, lazy, and sometimes aggressive corgis. I decided to pursue his titles to change that narrative.

Corgis are the 11th smartest breed! People are surprised to hear that! With his Facebook page and Instagram, I hope to show people that these dogs are capable of SOOO much more than just cute booty pics. So, yes Maslow is smart. I’m not denying that! But ALL corgis can be trick corgis. And in a way, I want to show that he isn’t one in a million. He isn’t a rare corgi. All corgis have the capability to be like him.
