Well, having just brought Fiadh home a year before, I wasn't thinking about getting another puppy yet. I thought, maybe when Fiadh was two, I would take the plunge and bring home a second corgi. Then the Dune litter was born. I always have a favorite in every litter, but Chani was special, and I began to seriously entertain the idea of adding to another corgi to my empty nest sooner than originally planned. After some negotiations, and some encouragement (you know who you are) and having been given an opportunity to actually meet the puppy, I decided that if we hit it off, she would be mine. Well, um, as soon as Meg put her into my hands, I was asking Tina how much I owed her, and Holly came home.

Holly is an amazing little whirlwind on short legs, with attitude to spare. She is affectionate, athletic, spicy, and smart...and showy. So here I am now entering dog shows and learning how to handle a dog in conformation events. Holly is still a baby and has a long way to go, but she is showing potential. She is also learning agility, and I can't wait to put her on a FastCAT course. Thank you, Tina for letting me add this baby hurricane to my not-so-empty nest.
